Members of the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) joined the community at Trunk or Treat to connect with East Oakland residents, engage with families, and gather community feedback through surveys. These conversations help the Rise East 40x40 initiative better understand what young people need, what opportunities matter most, and how to create programs and resources that support youth across East Oakland.
Through community outreach and engagement, YAC is making sure young people's voices are heard and helping shape opportunities for the next generation.
