East Oakland Boxing Association - Smartmoves

The East Oakland Boxing Association Smartmoves Program accepts applications for youth on a year round basis. The Smartmoves Program, EOBA’s education program, is mandatory for all youth ages 5-13. Youth in the Smartmoves Program must first complete 20-30 minutes of homework before they are eligible to participate in any of the other activities. Smartmoves is not mandatory for youth ages 14-20 though they are eligible to access its services (tutoring, computers, youth internships, field trips, and more). Spots fill up for the EOBA Smartmoves free summer program, so if you are interested please fill out an application in advance.

Please stop by the EOBA to pick up an application. Once the application is completed, the parent is required to participate in a short orientation with EOBA/ Smartmoves staff. After-school (September - June) hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 3:00-6:00

Wednesday and Friday from 12:30-6:00

Summer hours (July- August) hours are:

Monday through Friday from 10:30-5:00
